The role of a Extraordinary MinisterExtraordinary Ministers of the Holy Communion (EMOHC) are lay people who assist the celebrant in distributing Holy Communion at Mass. In every celebration of the Eucharist, there should be a sufficient number of ministers of Holy Communion so that it may be distributed in a reverent and orderly manner.
All ministers of Holy Communion should show the greatest reverence for the Most Holy Eucharist by their demeanor, their attire, and the manner in which they handle the consecrated bread or wine.

Requirements
- Must be above the age of 18
- Practicing Catholic and has all sacraments (Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation). If married, must be married in the Catholic Church.
- Complete a Volunteer Form
- Complete Safe Environment Training through the Diocese of Fresno: SAFE ENVIRONMENT TRAINING
- Eucharistic Minister Trainings
- Every Thursday after the Noon Mass
On the day you will serve as a Eucharistic Minister, you MUST arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled mass and be in a state of grace and be able to receive the eucharist.

- Católico practicando y tiene todos los sacramentos (Bautismo, Primera Comunión y Confirmación). Si está casado, debe estar casado por la Iglesia Católica.
- Complete un formulario de voluntariado
- Complete la capacitación sobre ambiente seguro a través de la Diócesis de Fresno: SAFE ENVIRONMENT TRAINING
- Capacitación para Ministros Eucarísticos
- Todos los Jueves después de la misa del mediodía
El día que servirá como Ministro Eucarístico, DEBE llegar al menos 15 minutos antes de la misa programada y estar en estado de gracia y poder recibir la eucaristía.

Homebound Ministry
Extraordinary Ministers can also serve in Homebound Ministry. Ministers are sent to the community every Sunday and/or weekday with the Eucharist to the sick and Homebound.
Los ministros eucarísticos también pueden servir en el ministerio confinado en el hogar. Los ministros son enviados a la comunidad todos los domingos y/o días laborables con la Eucaristía a los enfermos y confinados en sus hogares. -
